Warranty Policy

Last updated: June 18, 2026

Thank you for choosing Leadshine Store. We are committed to providing reliable products and support. Please review this Limited Warranty carefully before using your product.

Leadshine warrants that eligible products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and operation for 12 months from the date of shipment, unless otherwise stated in the applicable quotation, order confirmation, or sales agreement.

This Limited Warranty applies only to products purchased directly from the Leadshine Store. A valid Leadshine Store order number is required to make a Warranty claim. Products purchased through other sales channels are not covered by this Warranty.

1. Warranty Period and Coverage

Dexterous Hands, Frameless Motors, and Integrated Actuators are covered by a 12-month Limited Warranty from the date of shipment.

During the Warranty Period, if Leadshine determines that a product has a defect in materials or workmanship covered by this Warranty under normal use and operation, Leadshine may, at its discretion:

  • Repair the product;
  • Replace the defective product or component;
  • Provide another appropriate remedy as required by applicable law.

Replacement parts or products may be new or refurbished and will be functionally equivalent to the original product where permitted by applicable law.

Repair or replacement does not restart or automatically extend the original Warranty Period unless required by applicable law or expressly agreed by Leadshine in writing.

2. Warranty Conditions

Warranty coverage is subject to the product being:

  • Installed, configured, and operated in accordance with Leadshine's applicable documentation and instructions;
  • Used within the published voltage, current, speed, torque, load, temperature, duty cycle, and environmental specifications;
  • Properly installed, wired, mounted, aligned, maintained, and stored;
  • Used for its intended application.

The customer is responsible for determining whether the product is suitable for the intended application and for properly integrating the product into the customer's system.

For products requiring professional installation, commissioning, programming, or system integration, Leadshine does not warrant the performance of the customer's overall system or application unless expressly agreed in writing.

3. Exclusions

To the extent permitted by applicable law, this Warranty does not cover defects, damage, or failures resulting from:

  • Misuse, abuse, negligence, or improper operation;
  • Failure to follow product documentation, warnings, or operating instructions;
  • Improper installation, wiring, configuration, mounting, alignment, maintenance, or storage;
  • Operation outside published specifications or recommended operating conditions;
  • Excessive load, torque, speed, acceleration, temperature, vibration, shock, or mechanical impact;
  • Mechanical interference, collision, obstruction, or improper external force;
  • Liquid ingress, corrosion, contamination, dust, foreign objects, or other environmental damage;
  • Unauthorized modification, disassembly, repair, or replacement of components;
  • Use with incompatible or unauthorized equipment, accessories, power supplies, controllers, software, or other components;
  • Normal wear and tear, aging, or consumable components;
  • Damage caused during transportation after delivery to the customer, except to the extent otherwise required by applicable law or covered by an agreed shipping arrangement;
  • Improper storage or handling;
  • Fire, flood, lightning, power surges, natural disasters, or other events beyond Leadshine's reasonable control;
  • Any other external cause not attributable to a defect in materials or workmanship.

For Dexterous Hands, Frameless Motors, and Integrated Actuators, damage resulting from excessive external loads, mechanical interference, improper mounting or alignment, collision, or operation beyond published performance limits is specifically excluded.

If Leadshine determines that a defect or failure resulted from any of the circumstances above, the Warranty will not apply.

4. Warranty Claims and RMA

A Warranty claim must be submitted to Leadshine before returning a product. An RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) issued by Leadshine is required before any product is returned for Warranty evaluation.

Customers may be required to provide:

  • A valid Leadshine Store order number or other proof of purchase;
  • Product model and serial number, where applicable;
  • A description of the reported problem;
  • Photos, videos, error codes, or other diagnostic information reasonably requested by Leadshine; and
  • Other information reasonably necessary to evaluate the Warranty claim.

Leadshine may first provide troubleshooting or remote diagnostic assistance to determine whether a return is necessary.

Do not return a product without an RMA. Unauthorized returns may be delayed, refused, or returned to the customer at the customer's expense, where permitted by applicable law.

Receipt of a returned product does not constitute acceptance of a Warranty claim. Leadshine will determine whether the reported issue is covered by this Warranty after reasonable inspection, testing, or diagnosis.

5. Inspection and Non-Covered Products

If Leadshine determines that:

  • No covered defect exists;
  • The product is outside the Warranty Period;
  • The product was purchased through a sales channel not covered by this Warranty;
  • The damage or failure falls under one of the exclusions above,the Warranty claim may be denied.

Where permitted by applicable law, the customer may be responsible for reasonable inspection, diagnostic, repair, replacement, and return shipping costs for products determined not to be covered by this Warranty.

Leadshine will inform the customer of applicable charges before proceeding with any chargeable repair or replacement, where reasonably practicable.

6. Shipping and Other Costs

Unless otherwise agreed in writing or required by applicable law, the customer is responsible for shipping the product to Leadshine for Warranty evaluation.

For an approved Warranty claim, Leadshine may cover reasonable standard return shipping costs for the repaired or replacement product.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing or required by applicable law, the customer is responsible for customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, and other cross-border charges.

Leadshine is not responsible for shipping costs associated with products determined not to be covered by this Warranty.

7. Commercial, Customized, and Other Orders

Warranty terms for OEM, customized, distributor, project-based, bulk, development, or other commercial orders may differ from this Warranty and will be governed by the applicable quotation, purchase order, order confirmation, or sales agreement.

This Warranty applies only to eligible products purchased directly from the Leadshine Store under the terms stated above.

8. Limitation of Warranty and Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, this Limited Warranty is the sole warranty provided by Leadshine for the covered products, except for any warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Leadshine will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential losses arising from or related to the product, including loss of production, revenue, profits, data, or business interruption.

Leadshine's obligations under this Warranty are limited to the repair, replacement, or other remedy expressly provided under this Warranty, subject to applicable law.

Nothing in this Warranty limits or excludes any rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited or excluded under applicable law.
